Obituary for
Charles Warren Miller
Charles “Warren” Miller, 85 years old, of Charleston, WV departed this old life for his new one that was prepared for him by the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven on January 13, 2018 at 1:10 am at the Charleston Hubbard Hospice House.
Warren was the beloved husband of D. “Kay” Miller, “dad” to Angela K. Ouzts, Arthur R. “Russ” Edwards (Kathy) both of TN, and Tina A. McClanahan (Frank) of NC. He was Pawpaw to eight grandchildren: Mandi Rebol (Jax) and Alyssa McClanahan of NC; Jessica Baker (Benji), Emily Burdette, Kayleigh Ouzts of SC; Carson Granger, Christopher Edwards, Elizabeth Edwards of TN; four great-grandchildren: Connor, Will, Colton, Aubree and a baby girl Rebol due in April.
He was born April 16, 1932 to Lonnie Frazier Miller and Grace Comer Miller of Charleston.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Earl Christopher and Austel (Fay) Miller, sisters: Baby Margaret, June (Don) Wandling, Sybil (Waverly) Walker, Imogene (Bill) Breeden and beloved nephew “Jamie” Robison.
He was a retired mechanic for Kroger in Kanawha City with 21 years of service and was a licensed machinist.
Warren’s family wants to thank everyone for your love and kindness toward him. Special love and thanks to: Ben & Regina Lilly, Greg & Vicky Lilly, “Little Bill” Breeden and Jack Miller for your love and support, especially over the last several years.
Visitation will be from 11 to 1pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with services starting promptly at 1pm. Preacher Pete Rhodes will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Baldwin Cemetery.
